At NS Travelove, we understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancelling your flight bookings and any associated fees or penalties.
Please review this policy carefully as cancellation terms vary based on airline rules, fare types, and how close to departure you cancel.
Cancellation Windows
The timing of your cancellation request directly affects the fees and refund eligibility:
Within 24 Hours
Full refund available for bookings made at least 7 days before departure. This is the risk-free cancellation window.
24 Hours to 7 Days
Cancellation fees apply based on airline policy. Partial refund may be available for refundable fares.
Within 7 Days
Higher cancellation fees. Most non-refundable fares receive no refund during this period.
Within 24 Hours of Departure
Very limited refund options. Most bookings are non-refundable at this stage.
Cancellation Fees
When you cancel a booking, the following fees may apply:
- Airline cancellation fees: Vary by carrier and fare type (typically $100-$500 per ticket)
- NS Travelove service fee: $25-$50 per booking for processing cancellations
- Refundable fares: May incur lower or no cancellation fees
- Non-refundable fares: Usually no monetary refund, but may offer travel credits minus fees
Non-Refundable Bookings
Most discounted and promotional fares are non-refundable. For these bookings:
- No cash refund is available
- Some airlines may offer future travel credits (valid for 1 year)
- Credits are typically minus a cancellation fee
- Name changes are usually not permitted on non-refundable fares
Refundable Bookings
Higher fare classes that offer more flexibility:
- Full or partial cash refund available based on timing
- Lower cancellation fees compared to non-refundable fares
- More flexibility for date changes
- May allow name changes for a fee
Airline-Initiated Cancellations
If the airline cancels or significantly changes your flight:
- Full refund regardless of fare type
- Option to rebook on alternative flights at no additional cost
- Compensation may be available under certain regulations
- NS Travelove assists with processing without additional service fees
Partial Cancellations
For multi-flight or round-trip bookings, partial cancellations have specific rules:
- Cancelling one segment may affect the entire itinerary
- Using only the outbound flight may cancel the return automatically
- Some airlines reprice the remaining segments at current rates
- Contact us before making partial changes to understand implications
Group Bookings
For group reservations (10+ passengers):
- Different cancellation rules apply
- Stricter cancellation deadlines
- Higher cancellation fees
- May require written cancellation notice

How to Cancel a Booking
To cancel your booking, please use one of the following methods:
Exceptions & Special Circumstances
In certain situations, airlines may waive standard cancellation policies:
- Medical emergencies (requires documentation)
- Bereavement (immediate family members)
- Military orders
- Jury duty
- Natural disasters or travel advisories
Note: Approval is at the sole discretion of the airline and requires valid documentation.
Important Notes
Please keep these important points in mind:
- Cancellation requests must be made through NS Travelove, not directly with the airline
- No-show passengers are not eligible for any refund or credit
- Service fees are non-refundable even if the airline processes a refund
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method
- Processing time: 7-14 business days after airline approval
